Who goes to Africa and doesn’t want to see cats?  Two cats, lions and leopards, are on the so-called “Big 5” list that are considered the “Must Sees” of Africa, along with elephants,, rhinos and cape buffalo. I don’t know how the beautiful cheetahs got left off that list, as they were more exciting to our small group than just about any animal.

        Our 17 days in Kenya and Tanzania and the three more around Kruger National Park in South Africa rewarded me with the following pictures. I have lots more, but these are my favorites.
