Don and Emily Baldwin, Marilee’s older brother and his wife, live on the outskirts of Albany Georgia. A retired engineer, Don can’t stop working on his house and grounds. Recently he decided to build a pond, and once the pond is stabilized, stock it with fish.

    Emily mailed us a set of snapshots of his efforts. I digitally photographed her photos and added her original annotations (with minor editing).  It is a huge undertaking, made more so by the fact that when first filled, it sprung a leak, had to be drained, and steps taken to stop the leak. You could never build anything like this in California.
