It all started in 1929 when a panorama photo of motorcyclists and their bikes was taken on the sand at Pismo Beach, with the famous pier in the background.

A memorable moment...an iconic event.

        “Let’s do it again,” someone said, and the next thing you knew The San Francisco Motorcycle Club and the Pasadena Motorcycle Club swung into gear...

       They followed the city’s rules religiously, got the necessary permits...

and 700+ riders poured into Pismo Beach.
